Debating Society

 
 Debating Society in the college teaches student how to articulate argument and clarify ideas also the students participating in the debating competitions organised in the college or Inter-NIT debating competitions are usually confident and more prepared to speak clearly during Interviews. They show professionalism and and clearly explain the idea and abilities.




Being in Debating Society helps in networking with professional community and can provide debaters great access to social community networks. for example if the students are going to discuss on a topic like "Social Work Skills" then they will get the information about this through personal interview with some of the best social worker around them. By establishing the connections and contacts students are able to build there broad professional network even before graduation. In future these networks can prove very helping for them.        


Debating Society also helps students to improve their personal and professional skills. As Debating Society always promotes standards of "Excellence in public speaking, presentation and argumentation." By providing the students a venue where they can speak and clarify their thoughts and ideas. As nowadays many employers require applicants to attend and engage in multiple Interviews, One's speaking and communicating abilities will surely help him/her to gain better odds of earning a potential job.

The Truth Shall Set You Free

National Institute of Technology , Durgapur is an esteemed institute of national importance, Formerly known as the regional engineering college ( which is highlighted right at the entrance, a little more boldly than the actual name !). Established is the year 1960 , and later converted to an NIT in 2003, NIT DGP is one of the oldest Institutions. Now all of this can be found on Wikipedia and other informative sites , but alas none of this really shed light on the true nature of this “esteemed” college .
